God called me to actually pray. especially around my school. To be brave, forget about what people think, and go. Hes told me to stop being comfortable and sit with people I dont really know. To be completely real and honest. Hes called me to take full advantage of where Hes placed me and to stop neglecting my job.

R.M.J.- Livingston

I am going to start discipling my family. My mom rededicated her life to the Lord this past Sunday. There is a lot of healing that has to happen before we can be a family again. Hey mom,
Today went very well! I talked to a girl named Nedja for over an hour. We went out for a coke and then it started to rain. We walked for a while under my umbrella. She didn't speak much English, but we exchanged email addresses. Hopefully, I will get to share my testimony with her that way. I am so excited to get to see you Saturday! I love you!

LB, San Angelo

Howdy friends and family. Today was most awesome! I spoke with a lady named U from Portugal. We talked for approx. 1 1/2 hours. Please pray for her as she doesn't know Jesus and she has cancer. She just had her 4th treatment today. She has 3 treatments left. I'll tell you more later. Yes Rick, you've emailed all 3 of us. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers. Margie, mom, and Sterling -- we've gotten your great messages. Thanks! Weight Watchers-diet-who knows. No vegetables where I've been. I'll know more when I get home. This is the last email from Germany. We love you all and see you soon!

BWH, Texas City

To whoever is reading this,
Today was our last day at Bonn and it turned out to be a great one. I prayer walked for at least three hours with no conversation at all. 30 minutes before we left, I got into an hour long conversation with a guy. Although I didn't get to witness to him, I did plant many ideas into his head about the Lord. It was so relieveing to finally have a good conversation and have God give me a "yes"! Anyway, it was a great week, but I con not leave it here, I must bring it here. See ya!

AEB, Idalou

Monica, boys and family,
Today was our last day in Bonn and it was hot and humid. At first it was a little discouraging. But after a time of prayer and confession, the Lord really blessed. This was especially true after I got my heart focused on God. I could her God directing me. I met a young Albanian mand and his daughter. We talked for a good while about differences in Baptist and Catholic life. He saw that I was really seriously in love with Jesus. I said, "Yes, he means everything to me." His name is A. Please be in prayer for him. Again, God is teaching me "Obedience over activity." Gutten Nacht

Dear Whoever,
Everything's going well i just don't have time to write! God's done amazing things and I'll share when we get home.

AW, Houston

Hallo y'all!
Today I met a girl named L and 2 of her friends. We talked a bit about the city and religious things. I got Linda's email to keep contact. Please pray for L. Happy birthday Mom! I love you!

JR, Hutto

Dear family,
Yesterday I met a woman named K who is Japanese. we talked for about an hour and I was even able to talk to her about God. It was really cool. Today, I just prayed-but it was amazing to see God answer them. or even to see how God has orchestrated things together.

PO Henderson

To whomever, (this is from yesterday)

Hallo. Our second day in Bonn required a bit of patience and endurance for me. Our goal was just to meet people and form a relationship, but pretty soon I found out this is more difficult than it seems. Though almost everyone I tried to talk with did not speak English. I did meet one guy, but he was very quite. He suggested I find a younger couple to talk to, and when I asked if there was anything I could pray for him about, he just turned away. They got me pretty discouraged. I spent the rest of my day in prayer, walking and fellowshipping with other memebers of our trek. Please pray that I would be able to meet some people and form some good relationships and that I would be encouraged to never back down in my attempts. The weather is nice. I like the rain.

RMJ, Livingston

Hey Mom,
Our day was awesome. I met 4 new people. I exchanged contact info with one girl. She really was excited to talk to me. I didn't get to bring up Jesus, but who knows? Maybe while corresponding we will get to talk about Him. I also met an elderly lady who I might see tomorrow. Please pray for the endurance of my group. Guten tag.

ZS, Charlotte

Gutten Tag,
Today was very good, but not as great as yesterday. People weren't as open as they were yesterday, but we have to realize that it is all for God's glory.

LB San Angelo

Howdy family,

Hope and pray all is well at home. I hope you are getting these emails. We were back at Bonn University today. Campus and park environment were very different today. More people but less English speaking people. It was a very difficult day. We are all exhausted. We are doing 16 hr days with not very much sleep. It didn't rain on us today... Praise the Lord. We are praying that tomorrow willbe a more prosperous day. We love you all!

AEB, Idalou

Monica, Boys, and everyone,

Today was an interesting day. The Lord taught me a lot about waiting on Him. I tried to meet a young man. I didn't get far with him but he is still on my heart. I spent a lot of time prayer walking. The Lord reminded me that this is HIS work, so wait on Him.

We are learning about relational evangelism. I am really enjoying slowing down and allowing God to direct me to whom I should go to. This involves listening, praying, and waiting for God's movement... more when I get home...

Miss you all. From the heart of Germany with a heart for Germany. Love.

JR Hutto

Dear family,
I met several girls today. I learned a lot about them and their culture. We did some prayer walking too. Today I am very tired, so please pray that I would be able to focus and learn instead of getting distracted.

AW Houston

Hallo

Today was practically a prayer day for me. God seemed to be shutting doors so that I could pray for my team. I talked to the "ferret lady", but God shut the door soon into the conversation. But had it not been for R and J saying I should talk to the lady, R wouldn't have been able to talk to an awesome lady named Carmen. Praise God.

BWH Texas City

Hallo All,
Today was a very tough day at Bonn. I only got to talk to one group of people and the rest of the day was just praying. I was starting to get frustrated, but realized that maybe God was teaching me patience and to pray more. Hopefully, tomorrow will have a little more conversations, but if not, I will be fine with it. See yall soon. Keep on praying.

KM Panhandle, TX

This week has already been 10x better than any week I had last summer. There truly is a huge difference in the city because of the work that took place last year. Every person on my team had significant conversations with people they met. Most actually met 2 different people today whom they got to kind of scratch the surface with.

RMJ

Hey Mom,

Today we went to the same park. The focus of today's work was meeting new people. Amanda and I walked around and prayer walked for a while before deciding that God wanted the both of us to go talk to two college girls. They were only a year older than us. We talked for about 30 minutes, exchanging information about our cultures. We should see them more this week.

AW Houston

Guten Tag!!

Today was awesome! We went out in the city of Bonn again, but this time to meet people and after some time of being discouraged and praying that God would take it from us, we met 2 girls. We sat down with the girls and talked about 30 minutes. We hope to spend more time with them this week. Please pray for them.

JR Hutto

Dear family,
Today we went out and met people who were hanging out at the park. I talked to a university student named, "A" for a little while. I got to know her well. I hope that I will be able to speak to her again tomorrow. Our groups also met a lot of people and got to start some relationships.

TS, Eastland

Hey Eastlanders!

Today was amazing. It ws the first day on interaction with the people of Bonn which was a little intimadating. I prayed that God would make me bold and 10 minutes into the day, I ws in a conversation for 1 1/2 hours. "Y" was the guys name. He was not a Christian but today we really just got to know each other. Please keep praying for us. Love all.

BWH Texas City

Guten Tag! Today we went to Bonn University again, and just let God work. Although, there are no tennis courts (he he). I survived anyway. Taking that first step to talk was very challenging, but I did and truly benefited from it. Pray for me that I will be restrengthened and have the courage to do this all over again. My shoulders are also hurting, so pray for that too. Making Him famous.

ZS Charlotte

Hey guys,
Today was another incredible day. We went back to Bonn today, except this time we were able to make conversations with people. All of us at least met someone and were able to talk to someone. It was really cool because I was able to meet somecollege students who went to Bonn University, and I played frisbee with them. I am really excited and I am looking forward to tomorrow. Love, ZS

LB

Hi guys, Hope all is good at home. We went back to the University today. I met S and her son L. She was very friendly. Hopefully we will meet again. I played volleyball with some Spanish speaking people. As a result, I have walked over 15, 228 steps (7.45 miles). My dogs are barking (my feet hurt). We will do it again tomorrow. I love you all. See you soon.

EB, Idalou

Guten Tag, Good day everyone,
Today was awesome! We spent all afternoon in Bonn. I met 2 couples who were touring Bonn and they taught us some of the history of Bonn. Then I met "H", who is a babysitter. I talked with him about families in Germany. He told me that he was looking for a job in an orphanage. I ask him if I could pray for him about this. So please pray for "H" and that he will be back this week. Love to all.

Guten Abend and Guten Nacht

Hey mom! Today we took a tram to Bonn from Cologne. We went to the university campus and prayer walked for about an hour and a half. We also spent some time relfecting on what we would do to meet people the next few days. There is a park nearby where people play soccer and other sports. I am excited about the next few days! I love you!

TS - Blinn College

Germany is so awesome! Today was our first real day out in the field. We really spent the day in prayer praying for our area. Bonn is where my team is actually going to be. Tomorrow will be our first day of interacting with the people. Pray that Father will use us to do some radical things! Love yall!

JR, Hutto

Dear family,

Today we went to our ministry site in Bonn and spent a couple of hours prayer walking. We will be working mainly in a park right next to the university. I'm not sure yet how God wants me to relate to other people, but I'm sure that with more prayer, He will show me. Randomly- the weather here is great.

AW - Houston

Today was awesome. When we thought we'd be tired we weren't. We will be traveling to the city of Bonn all week sharing in a park. We pretty much got to know the city and prayed over it. Happy birthday, Samantha!

BWH - Texas City

Today we went to our site and prayer-walked for about three hours for the people and for openness to witness. It looks like I will be playing soccer this week and maybe frisbee. Well, that's all for today.

AEB, Idalou

Monica, boys and all family,
Our group is scheduled to serve in Bonn at the univeristy and prayer walk. The place is so beautiful and steepe with history, especially religious history. My heart is really breaking for the people in Germany. As we have been told, Germany had Jesus in the fact that this is where the reformation began, but now thier hearts are so closed. Please pray for the people, that their hearts would become more and more open. Tomorrow we will begin to make relationships. Let everyone know to read the blog postcard site. Love all.

KM, Dallas

Our first day at Bonn was great. We woke up kind of early. I have already met someone I got to share my story with last year. We talked for a little while and he said he would come back out tomorrow. We spent most of our time praying today. Our team is gaining soft and broken hearts for the city and the people.

LB

Just wanted to let you know what we did today. We rode a train over to the Univeristy Park where we at lunch and pray walked and ate supper. Tomorrow we were going to travel there again to talk to people. That's where we will be all week. Friday will be our free day. Hope all is wonderful at home. Pass around hugs and kisses. Sterling... mommy loves you and wishes you were here too. See you all soon. I love you.

ZS Charlotte

Hey, Today was so cool, we were able to visit a town called Bonn. It's a small town outside of Koln. We went to the University park and did some prayer walking around the area and surveyed where we would be witnessing the rest of the week.

P.O.

Hey, whoever...

This afternoon our trek headed to the city of Bohn, about 30 min out of Koln. It's a university town on the Rhine, but we stayed in the park area. We spent about an hour and a half prayer walking for God to show us opportunities to speak and form relationships and for anything else we felt needed... it was amazing to be so close to God in front of all these people who have no idea what we're about, so to speak. We also had house church time and a time of surveying opportunities to form relationships in the coming days. It's been nothing short of incredible thus far.
